ABOUT
Eduardo Sueitt holds a master's degree in music from Unicamp, a bachelor's degree in drums and a degree in music from the Faculdade de Música Carlos Gomes (São Paulo), a degree in drums from the Conservatório Dramático e Musical de Tatuí. He has shared stages and recordings with André Marques, Heraldo do Monte, Renato Braz, Ivânia Catarina, Paulinho Pedra Azul, Wolf Borges, Enéias Xavier, Fabio Gouvea, Fábio Leal, Alessandro Penezzi, among others. In 2015, he released his first CD entitled Eduardo Sueitt Quinteto "Enlevo dos Pinhais", and two years later he was consecrated as one of the winners of the XVII BDMG Instrumental Award. Eduardo Sueitt Quintet invites André Marques (São Paulo/2017); 12th International Music Encuentro Jazz a la Cale with Eduardo Sueitt & Grupo (Uruguay/2019); 1st Cycle of Rhythms and Brazilian Drums in Projazz Instituto Profesional (Chile/2019); Master Class Rhythms Brasileños at Universidad UNIACC (Chile/2019); Clínica de Drums Brasileña at Humboldt Jazz Week (Ecuador/2020). Eduardo Sueitt is the creator of the Instrumental Music in the Park project (Poços de Caldas ) since 2016. He served as coordinator and professor of the drum room at the International Festival of Music at Home (FIMUCA- Brasil/2020). He was part of the team at MIA - Mostra Integrada de Artes, being responsible for music curation (2019).
The musician is currently part of the Jazçur group, a project that started during the pandemic with South American friends (Ecuador, Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil) aimed at cultural fusion through the production of instrumental; in addition to acting as a Professor in the Graduation in Music at the Universidade do Estado da Bahia - UNEAD/UNEB and Professor at the Conservatório Musical Antonio Ferrucio Viviani in Poços de Caldas-MG.
