International Festival "HUMBOLDT JAZZ Week" invites Eduardo Sueitt to give a drum masterclass.

On 10/26/2020 (Monday) musician and educator Eduardo Sueitt participated in the Humboldt Jazz Week, ministering um masterclassss about Brazilian rhythms and their adaptations for contemporary drumming. 


In July 2020, the 1st Edition of the International Festival of Music at Home - FIMUCA took place in the Popular Music specialty. Musician and Educator, Eduardo Sueitt had the honor of acting as a teacher and, above all, as coordinator of the drum room, acting as organizer of the team of drummers invited to classes at the aforementioned Festival.

Master Class

Brazilian musician Eduardo Sueitt will share his musical experience, focusing on rhythms such as samba, bossa nova, baião and frevo. The purpose of the master class is to generate a cultural exchange between Brazil and Chile, showing part of the musical culture and traditional Brazilian rhythms, interpreted on piano, guitar, bass, drums, and percussion.


The Brazilian drummer Eduardo Sueitt will present in Santiago de Chile a series of workshops on Brazilian rhythms adapted to the drums.

Eduardo Sueitt is one of the new revelations of the Brazilian battery. An attentive and dedicated musician who overcomes the barriers of his instrument, seeking the deep inspiration that connects him with the inaccessible and the abstract and thus expressing the real beauty that inhabits his being.

Eduardo Sueitt has a show selected for Jazz a la Calle

Eduardo Sueitt & Grupo integrarão the programming of renowned International Meeting of Jazz Musicians a la Calle, in Uruguay. The musician presents his original work alongside Dô de Carvalho (sax and flute), Reynaldo Izeppi (trumpet), Paulio Celé (guitar), Sá Reston (bass ) and Salomão Soares (piano).

Eduardo Sueitt presents an article at the VI Congress of ABRAPEM


The work entitled Airto Moreira and Quarteto Novo: The singularity of the percussionist for adaptation of the genre baião in the music Canto Geral_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf5 was accepted for presentation during the VI8d5cf5 Congress of the Brazilian Association of Musical Performance –ABRAPEM, which will be held between October 23rd and 26th at the Escola Música from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte – UFRN (Natal-RN)

Professor at the Antônio Ferrucio Viviani Music Conservatory and active musician in the Poços Caldense scene will have a show shown on Programa Noturno (REDE MINAS) this Saturday,April 14th. Eduardo Sueitt is  drummer, composer and arranger and was consecrated as one of the winners of the 2017 BDMG Instrumental Prize. the program shows the show no  held at CCBB - Belo Horizonte in 2017,  where the musician shared the stage with_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136ba5cf58d_Paulio, Sá Reston (bx), Raphael Ferreira (tenor sax) and Bernardo Fabris (alto and soprano sax), and also had the special participation of pianist André Marques.

With a presentation by the musician Túlio Mourão, Noturno is aimed at the appreciation of instrumental music. By placing music within a quality audiovisual context, the program highlights the high level and versatility of the featured musicians. Names like Stanley Jordan, Paulo Moura, Jon Hendricks, Ron Carter, Cesar Camargo Mariano, Gilson Peranzzetta and Hermeto Pascoal have already passed through Noturno.

The musician and professor of drums at the Conservatório Musical Antônio Ferrucio Viviani, Eduardo Sueitt, was one of the winners of the XVII BDMG Instrumental Award, one of the most renowned awards in the State of Minas Gerais and which supports and promotes instrumental music from Minas Gerais._cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

Eduardo Sueitt, drummer and composer, presented the compositions “Someplace”, “Caminhando” and “Baião de Matuto”, alongside musicians Paulio Celé (guitar), Sá Reston (bass), Bernardo Fabris (sax and flute) and Dô de Carvalho, becoming one of the winners.

“It is a very important moment for my career and my professional growth, after all, having been chosen among so many other wonderful projects, which were presented in the semifinal and final, is a recognition that every artist seeks, and consequently makes him believe even more in the culture of the our country”, said an emotional Sueitt.
